Created in 1954, the Comité Colbert celebrates its 60th Birthday in 2014. For this occasion, its members – 78 French luxury houses and 14 cultural institutions reunited around common values – wanted to follow the dream of their visionary creators by projecting themselves into 2074. They work together to promote French art de vivre at  an international level.

Convinced by the power of the imagination, the Comité Colbert decided to dream 2074. Therefore, throughout 2013, it built an utopia in which every house has expressed its own dream in the form of a brief text, an image and five words. This rich incentive was then consolidated during 10 workshops to form a collective utopia representing the vision of the entire French luxury. Optimistic with strong shared values, this “noventique” utopia of the industry of “rêver-vrai” (“dream-real”) , places the human at the heart of his dream. It nourishes itself of paradoxes to affirm the importance of the esthetic emotions. The texts are in French and you can download the PDF for free :  http://www.rever2074.com/livre/pdf/Rever-2074.pdf
