Geyster is a flair duo founded by Gaël Benyamin and Pernilla Grönlund in 1999. In 2002, their project seduced Joachim Garraud, who became co-producer of the Geyster’s first album  ”I Love 1984″ (Radio Geyster). Their first single ‘Bye Bye Superman’ was air played all over Europe the whole summer of 2003.

How do you feel about Paris & Parisian people? Parisians are jaded. Paris is a wonderful city, but when you live in Paris you don’t appreciate its power. What does Parisian Flair mean to you? Paris seen from abroad. What is romanticism? Good sex! Are you romantic? I thought I was until I fell in love! Where did you have your most impressive French kiss?  By a green door of an old building in Odeon, the latin quarter. Your dream? I want to be a rock’n roll star! The best gift you ever made and Received?  Music. Your perfect French dinner? I don’t care about food as long as it tastes good. Your favorite French wine? The red one but I’m not a communist. Your favorite meal in France? A NYC sirloin steak cooked by a very famous French chef who knows about junk food … What is your Madeleine de Proust? A female contortionist.

Last French movie you saw?  “La vie d’Adèle” / “Blue is the warmest color” starting Adèle Exarchopoulos & Léa Seydoux

Favorite French movie?  “The under-gifted” / “Les sous doués” passent le bac” by Claude Zidi

Favorite movie quote?  “Hé, les gars ça lui r’prend”! (from les sous doués passent le bac). Favorite French actor? Daniel Auteuil. Which French contemporary artist? Anto fils de Pop

Favorite French Art gallery? Pigalle. What is your favorite place in France? Pigalle, rue de Douai. Where would you go when you were younger in France? Hyères Les Palmiers (Var). Your perfume? Habit rouge by Guerlain. What is the quintessential French look to you? Have a look at the CGT outfit, especially Bernard Thibault’s. The first book you recall reading? Bonjour tristesse by Françoise Sagan. Your favorite French word? Why? Apocalypse, because when it comes it will be time for “ A change for the better”. Your favorite French artist? Geyster. Best French lyrics? I can’t get through the night.
