Paul Armand-Delille A.K.A. polocorp is a musician, composer for MAD Agency and DJ/selector based in Paris. The Parisian Flair decided to feature him for his talent and his true Parisianism. He designs impeccable eclectic selections (Louis Vuitton, Audigier, le Georges, Hotel Costes). He has a unique style and is versatile in his DJ skills for Tête D’Affiche. In Paris, at the decks of Baron, he blends an elegant and selection of tracks. His inspiration comes from the Velvet Underground, Stereo Total or AIR, his band Open Space & Stars tackles with retro futurism, through insights in surf music, ethereal folk and space pop.
How do you feel about France and French people? It’s an amazing and beautiful country with a rich history and tons of fascinating places. The economic and social situation isn’t the best at the moment, but I want to be optimistic and believe the country has so many assets, it will bounce back soon!
What does Parisian Flair mean to you? You can’t beat black when it comes down to sober chic ! What is romanticism? Doing something disproportionate and spontaneous for someone you care for. Are you romantic? Yes, I’m a “coeur d’artichaut”/literal translation “an artichoke heart” which means “kiss curl”. Where did you have your most impressive French kiss? On rattle snake mountain, NH. Your dream? Producing beautiful and meaningful music. Sharing some good times and powerful emotions as a DJ. Taking over my dad’s farm house in Normandy and have kids at some point. Your perfect French dinner? Viande d’Aubrac, carottes Vichy, pomme de terres sautées / roasted potatoes. Your favorite French wine ? Bourgogne blanc, Corton Charlemagne. Your favorite meal in France?
